My medium Kokeshis are 20cm high with a diameter around 10cm at the largest. This size allows for quite a lot of details, bigger skies, larger landscapes. It is one of my favourite size to work, because it allows a lot of creativity in a reasonable amount of work.

I can really start to play with the hair strands in that size. My “windy hair” has always been one of my trademarks!

The price of a 20cm Kokeshi usually starts at £200, and it can vary depending on the amount of elements needed, the details in the painting, the hair accessories.
